Shape your own future

Tetra Pak offers you excellent opportunities to develop a rewarding long-term career, including mentorships and training to further develop your skills.

Career opportunities

Since Tetra Pak is a global company, we offer many different opportunities for personal and career development. We will encourage you to actively find new challenges that will enhance your own job satisfaction but also bring value to Tetra Pak as a company. We have a variety of tools to help you achieve your career goals, career ambitions and development plans, with support from your manager.

Your career path at Tetra Pak

At Tetra Pak, all vacancies are published on our intranet to promote internal career progression. This encourages employees to find their own career path and enables employees to move horizontally and vertically to new roles. There is no ‘right’ career path and everyone’s career journey is unique!

Performance and Development

Our Performance Management process serves to define clear deliverables and expectations. You are given continuous feedback and coaching by your manager on your performance, to help you to achieve your individual objectives and to plan your development.

At least once a year you have a development dialogue with you manager to capture all the aspects that are important for your personal growth; key competencies required for your current and potential future role, career aspirations and career development opportunities. The outcome is captured in an Individual Development Plan (IDP) with relevant and actionable development objectives and activities.

Mentorship opportunities

We offer a variety of different mentoring programmes. Participants are nominated for our global programmes, but you can apply for the local programmes yourself (with your manager’s approval). The mentor programme at Tetra Pak has the following benefits:

  1. It is a programme that develops knowledge, networks and careers. More experienced employees (mentors) support and develop other employees (mentees).
  2. It enables and improves (cross-functional) knowledge sharing and facilitates the flow of information and ideas throughout the organisation.
  3. It helps our people better understand our operations, policies and culture.

As a mentee with a mentor, you will have networking opportunities, accelerate your own development and increase your job satisfaction.
